The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is a housing authority in the city of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established as a state-owned military company on January 1, 1975. The DHA Jobs has been used as a model for other projects to be replicated elsewhere in Pakistan and South Asia by United States Agency for International Development. In 2005 alone, it received more than $2 billion worth of orders from USAID for construction work at various sites around Pakistan.
